I can't believe that my baby girl turned one. This year has really gone by fast. We had a rocky start with her. She would scream at every diaper change, then she had bowel problems that lasted for 10 months. Luckily, the screaming stopped after the first month. She was sick in February and had to get "suctioned out" a couple times a day for three weeks. Poor girl couldn't breathe. She sat up by 6 months, army crawling at 9 months and finally crawling by 11 months. She still only has 2 teeth. She is taking her sweet time with the teething. She has stood a couple times for a few seconds. The first time she stood, it was for a long time. She was only 10 months. I thought she would start walking before she would crawl, but that hasn't happened.
She has been such a blessing in our lives. The other kids just love her to pieces. The boys are pretty good with changing her diaper when it's stinky. One time, Preston was changing her diaper. There was a mess because she rolled around and he couldn't get her to hold still. He likes to get her out of bed when she wakes up. She is so happy to see him.
