We took the boat out to Sand Hollow for the first time this season on Memorial Day. We knew it would be crowded. (We try to avoid holidays.) It was hard to find a spot on the beach, but we did it.
It was Evie's first time to the beach. She wasn't a big fan. Luckily, Candice had an umbrella to help block the sun from little Evie. Our canopy broke last year and Wal Mart didn't have any more at the time.
Dalton is hitching a ride on Cameron's canoe. He held on for quite a while then let go.
Addi it trying out Evie's sunglasses. She liked having them on. We didn't get into the water. I knew it would be cold. Luckily, it wasn't too hot outside. It was a beautiful day.
We had 6 adults, 7 kids, (three were 6 months and under) and two dogs all staying in my little 1300 square foot house. Good times! We had people everywhere. I liked it though. It reminded me of when we would visit our cousins in Arizona.
The girls went to Zumba Saturday morning then we came home and went to the lake. We went to dinner at Iggy's that night.
Sunday, it was cold and windy. We went to church then hung out the rest of the day. We managed to go for a walk, but it was cold.
Monday, the men and kids went fishing while the Mom's stayed home with the babies. Preston caught a huge fish. Of course, I don't have a picture of it. It was a 4 pound bass. Some went shopping while others stayed back and got snow cones! My sister loves the frozen hot chocolate they have. Yum!
Then they all left about 6pm. It was a fun weekend. I was sad to see them go.
