Simple pleasures...

I must admit, I get pleasure out of the simple things. Last week Preston was the leader at Preschool. They talked about corn and owls. The teacher asked us to have a snack that coordinates with what they are talking about. I was so excited!! OK, first of all, I love Halloween. I have 4 Halloween cook books!! (I can't get enough of the fun and scary treats you can make.) I made candy corn popcorn balls, and these owl treats for his class. Talk about fun! When the teacher saw the owls, she flipped. She said she had to take a picture. If only I was creative enough to come up with them myself! All they are, are crescent rolls, with cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on top, goldfish pretzels, and chocolate stars. I couldn't find pretzel crackers anywhere, luckily my sister was visiting and said she had some. I picked them out of her bag of crackers. Then I couldn't find the chocolate stars. I had to make them. It wasn't hard, though. I just wish I would have thought about melting the chocolate in the first place, instead of running all over creation to find them. Oh well!

On a side note, please vote for my kitchen on portraitkitchens.com. Scroll down to where they have the Worst Kitchen contest voting spot. I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you! Thank you to those who have voted already.

P.S. I enjoyed your testimony on Sunday. What do you think of our new ward? It is SOOO big compared to our last ward. I feel lost almost!! I'm sure we'll get used to it I guess.

I haven't watched the babies for about a week, but I watched them 5 or 6 times.

Church was great on Sunday. We only had Sacrament Meeting again. Also, Ellis & I got put in as the CTR 6 primary teachers. Is that Dalton's class? We are pretty excited to be teaching primary together. Do you have a calling yet?
