Dalton wouldn't pose for me. His hip hop group performed a Christmas Matinee show. His group performed to Justin Beiber songs. Their dance was titled Bieber Fever.
He is no longer the only boy in the group. The other boy used to be in his class at school this year. He transferred to another class. He has moves. Dalton got a little nervous. He said he forgot what he was supposed to do, so he just stood there. (Not the whole time, but a few seconds.) He still wants to keep taking hip hop. Maybe this will help him break out of his shell.
The very end. He is kind of doing his moves!
Alee was in the Nutcraker. Her dance was the third after the intermission. The first half actually went pretty fast. We had her sitting with us so she could watch the other dancers. She liked it.
She is the third one on the left. When she walked on stage, she covered her eyes because the spotlight was too bright. I thought she was going to cover them the whole time, luckily she didn't.
The girls were so cute. It's fun to watch them do their own thing, when they wanted to, not worrying about anything. At the end, Alee drops to her knees instead of the end pose. I don't know why she did that. Preston asked her, "Why didn't you do anything?" At the beginning, she just stood there, too. She ended up doing the moves.
Her costume was way tight. Her teacher told me to sew elastic at the crotch area to lengthen it. I took a pair of panties, cut the bottom out and sewed it to her costume. Nevermind that the panties were white and her costume was pink and purple (that was the only solid pair that she has). Hopefully, nobody noticed. This costume is supposed to fir her in the spring. Not sure it will!
