Back to school

 Dalton is in 4th grade.
Preston is in 1st grade. (His classroom is on the sunny side of the school, in the morning.)

School started a few weeks ago.  For some reason, I didn't get to blogging about it until now.  Not that anything exciting happened that I really needed to share.

It has been really weird having both boys gone all day.  I have a lot of time with just the girls (mostly just Alee because Addi takes naps a couple times a day).  It is hard to entertain her sometimes.    She will start preschool soon, so that will help for a few hours a couple of the days.

Dalton was not excited to start this year.  He ended up with the same teacher as last year (she moved up a grade).  I felt bad for him because the exciting part of a new year is getting a new teacher.  I think he will do fine.  There's a few other kids from last year in his class again, too.  Hopefully that will help.

Preston was so cute.  The night before the first day of school, Preston prayed that he will be able to wake up early for school. (He rarely wakes up before 8 am).  Dalton set his alarm clock and set it beside Preston so he could hear it.  I don't know what time they set the alarm for, but when I got back from the gym at 7am, they were both up and dressed and ready to go to school.  By 8am, they were ready to head out the door.  School doesn't start until 9, so they had to wait.  That enthusiasm didn't last very long.
